Calm Before the Storm - for String Quartet

String quartet 'Calm Before the Storm' written for the resident string quartet with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

 

This piece was one of the winning entries in a composition competition associated with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and was performed at the Millenium Centre, Cardiff Bay.

 

Composed for string quartet with narrator, this piece was inspired by and includes the war poetry of Wilfred Owen.
